Carl Dearing - Producer / Director

Carl set up One2Watch Entertainments in 1999, but had been making Club / Dance Films since as far back as 1994/5.
This began with a series of shoots at Martines Nightclub in Portsmouth and featured appearances by such Celebrities as Natalie Imbruglia, Steve McFadden, Tracey Kirby, Debbie Ashby, Ross Kemp, Brad Willis, Todd Carty and many more.
At the same time - Carl began producing Club Videos for Class Act UK - a successful local entertainments agency.
The `Film Crew For The Night` service was offered by Class Act UK  to a wide range of Clubs around the country and involved filming for the night and then providing an edited version on tape.

This was very successful and led to the concept being taken up by local television and `Clublife` was born.

An experienced all -rounder, Carl films, edits and delivers the final product and always strives to make the client happy with the end result.

Jay Twist - Cameraman / Editor

Jay Twist is an accomplished Cameraman / Editor who has worked in the Hardcore / Hard Dance / Drum & Bass arena for many years and has a great personal relationship with many of the Promoters / DJs and Artists on the scene.
In fact many of the friends he grew up with locally, are now leading lights in these genres.
Himself a confirmed raver, Jay is also a popular DJ and also has a very successful Youtube site which showcases his work on BMX events, aswell as independent club / rave shoots around the UK.

Apart from being an important member of the One2Watch Team, Jay also operates his own production facility - Extreme Productions and examples of his work can be seen on the Youtube site - http://www.youtube.co/user/PORTSMOUTH10001

Again, with loads of experience and natural flair, Jay has a distinctive style - which varies from `Car Crash TV` to Smooth and Sophisticated, but with his many contacts in the industry and an eye for the perfect shot, he can deliver brilliant material.

Also an accomplished editor, Jay has worked with the One2Watch Team on many occassions and can be relied upon to come up with the goods !

Jon Brown - Presenter

Jon has been with the team
for over 10 years now.
His first job as presenter with us involved travelling to Swansea to interview a drunk and randy celebrity known as Jordan ( a.k.a  Katie Price ).
Talk about being thrown in at the deep end !
Personally I think he coped with it really well and thus we have worked together on many more occassions over the past decade.

See the Katie Price interview on the far right of this page

Whilst Jon has worked closely with One 2 Watch Entertainments over the past ten years or more, he also has his fingers in a number of other pies and has built a good reputation as an independent Promoter and PR Guru.  From Magazine Editing, Film Reviews, Web Marketing and Radio Broadcasting - to DJ Mixing and TV Presenting - Jon has done it all !
In the process, he has managed to build up an impressive database of contacts in the Film Industry and within the Music Industry across several genres.

This knowledge of the Music Industry and the Rave Scene in particular, contributes to his confidence in front of the camera and he is never lost for words when interviewing everyone from ravers and clubbers to celebrities like Richard Branson.

Apart from his presenting role with One 2 Watch Entertainments, Jon also runs his own PR Business,  is a freelance Promoter for such brands as `Ravers Are`, `Fusion` and many more -  and writes for Core Magazine

Jon also works independently as a Presenter for Extreme Productions and other Film Production Units in the Music / Rave Industry and can regularly be seen at events throughout the UK.

Whilst Jon is perfectly happy working to a script - he is the master of `Ad Lib` and will launch into an interview without lots of preparation, if required.   This is particularly handy in the fast-paced environment of Rave / Dance Films and Jon`s extensive knowledge of the industry often means that he has advance knowledge of what DJs and Performers have been up to and consequently asks all the right questions to get them chatting.

Interview credits include Judge Jules, Norman Jay, Darren Styles, DJ Hixxy, Gammer, Dougal, Supreme, Oakenfold, Lisa Lashes, Joey Riot, Marc Smith, DJ Sy and many more across several genres of music.

Kristine McCurdy - Presenter

Kristine has worked with us on several occasions and she is certainly not shy.  She has a friendly and confident approach to interviews and works very hard to achieve the right shot.

When she is not actually presenting,Kristine is always ready to lend a hand on other tasks such as researching, sound recording etc.

She recorded a nice little cameo performance for us with the DJ Joey Riot at The Opera House in Bournemouth.  Loosely based on the TV Show ` Most Haunted` - Kristine plays the role of Yvette Fielding.

See the clip to the right of this page.

DJ Bubble - DJ, Promoter and Resident Presenter for HTID

An important member of the Clublife Team is DJ Bubble, who is actually the resident presenter for one of our biggest clients - HTID ( Hardcore Till I Die ).

Wild and Wacky, Bubble is the face of HTID and presents at all of their major events.  This guy knows the UK Hardcore scene inside out and has long term relationships with all the major DJs and the raving community.

He works hard, plays hard and quite frankly is a pleasure to work with.  Whilst he is not afraid to party ( witness the boat parties in Spain ! ) - he is always professional and hard working and will push the camera crew to squeeze every last drop of action from a shoot.

Apart from his role as presenter, Bubble also runs a successful record label and promotes events and is a force to be reckoned with in the UK Hardcore / Hard Dance Industry.

We have worked with Bubble on HTID In The Sun 2009 - a week long rave party in Lloret De Mar, Spain and in 2010 we are set to cover The Global Energy Weekender together at Pontins Camber Sands and to work on HTID In The Sun 2010.

Eugene Sully - Presenter and Camera / Sound Operative

A memorable ex-contestant of Channel 4`s Big Brother, since leaving the show ( several thousand poinds richer ) - Eugene has pursued a career in the media and is currently working for the BBC.
A notorious `Techy` , he is interested in all the technical aspects of the industry and has been involved in Local Radio and Television Productions from the South Coast to Scotland.

We met Eugene several years ago, while working on the International Birdman Competition in Bognor Regis and he has worked with us on several projects since - from Nightclubs to Talent Competitions, in his capacity as a presenter and as second camera unit.

Extremely personable and often recognised for his role in Big Brother, Eugene gets on well with everyone and works hard to complete a project in a professional manner.     He is always ready to help in any way and has no difficulty talking to members of the public, or top celebrities and politicians.

Eugene originally comes from the Crawley region, but these days - with his job at the BBC, he can often be found in various different locations around the UK - from the South Coast to Scotland.

He is a pleasure to have around and makes a good and `natural` presenter in a variety of applications.

The well
featured Sony HDV deck used extensively by our post-production team.

Whilst being compact and light, the deck is sturdy and takes full size DV Cam and HDV tapes as well as Mini DV.
The IEE1394 link ensures smooth integration with the editing suite and direct control from within Final Cut Pro.

Having used the popular Sony Z1E cameras for several years, we have recently upgraded to the JVC GY-HM700E which takes us into the realms of tapeless solid state production. The JVC camera records onto SDHC Chips
( Class 6 ) and an additional benefit is that the recording is in Quicktime  - which is the Final Cut Pro standard editing format.
Thus, this speeds up the production flow, effectively cutting out the capture from tape process.

The JVC camera also includes a fully professional detachable lens and the optional media recorder attachment also records the action in MP4 format simultaneously - providing a back up.

Jon Brown talks to Katie Price in Swansea

Jon remembers this `baptism of fire` well and has since gone on to interview scores of top celebrities, DJs and Business Leaders.

Adaptable and hard working, Jon can perform well as a Presenter in an genre, but it is fair to say, that with his knowledge of the industry - Club / Dance projects are a speciality !
